BIOGRAPHY

Davide Dato was born in 1990 in Biella, Italy.

After having shortly attended an acting school in his hometown, attracted to the theater world, Davide started dancing at the age of 8 beginning with modern dance and switching to classical ballet later on.

Davide graduated at the age of 17 with best marks at the School of the Vienna State Opera and got additional training at the School of American Ballet in Nyc.

He joined the Vienna State Ballet in 2008, in 2011 he was appointed Demi-soloist of the Wiener Staatsballett, 2013 he was promoted Soloist Dancer, 2016 he was appointed Principal Dancer of the Vienna State Ballet.

He has performed as a soloist in modern as well as in the most classical productions of the Vienna State Opera' s Repertory.
He performed in the famous New Years Concert live from Vienna broadcasted worldwide in the years 2016, 2015, 2012, 2011.

He is a Guest Artist with the "Arena di Verona" and has been guesting In Japan, Russia, America and Europe.

Davide took part at various International Advertising campaigns like Tim-Telecom Italia, Lancia Ypsilon, and the new World Campaign 2016 for Nespresso™.
